My Story

Paper Cutz started as a craft night in 2013 with my best friend as an outlet to escape a tough time in my life. From there, a business was birthed, and it was just supposed to be a side hustle; it’s now my second full-time job. It’s a ton of work, but I love it, and it keeps me out of trouble. I have no formal training and didn’t go to art school. There’s no secret to it; I cut vintage papers with tiny scissors and then glue them to paper. It takes a very long time to create a picture, anywhere between 10 hours and several months. I have no idea what I’m doing most of the time and hope for the best.

I grew up in Staten Island, went to college in Las Vegas and now reside in Cleveland, Ohio. I can’t live without my morning tea with honey and lemon. I love food and believe that New York has the best pizza globally. I love to travel and explore new places. I listen to too many podcasts. I have two sons, a daughter-in-law, two granddaughters (they call me Gaga as in Lady!), a coonhound named Louie, and a very patient husband who supports me working all the time. Thank you for stopping by my site today. If you see me driving the Paper Cutz van on the road, be sure to beep and give me a wave!
